The Liebster Award!

Hi guys so I got nominated for the Liebster Award like ages ago by Ella from http://www.ellarosebeautyy.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1 (thank you ♡ ) and I'm finally doing it! xD  It's basically an 'award' to promote and grow blogs.

Here are the rules:
•to thank the person who nominated you
•answer the nominated questions
•nominate 11 more blogs
•create 11 new questions for the nominees to answer
•notify the nominees through social media/blogs

Onto the questions!

If you could be a YouTuber for a day who would you be?
I would be Gabby Lindley (aka velvetgh0st) because I love her lifestyle...and her cat! ♡

What is your favourite makeup brand?
Rimmel because they have such good concealer, powder & mascara.

Favourite shop?
H&M (I have wayyy too many clothes and lippies from there!) and Lush for obvious reasons...♡

Who inspires you the most?
Probably again Gabby as I love her lifestyle and I would love to be just like her. ♡

Why did you start your blog?
I think it was because my friend had one, and it just looked really fun!

What is your dream career?
Oh I have so many...a YouTuber, a makeup artist or something in TV or film.

What is your favourite book?
I don't really have one favourite but I really like Girl Online by Zoe Sugg because it is just a beautiful story and is so inspiring, and Love Tanya by Tanya Burr because I love all the beauty, skincare and baking parts of it.

Who is your favourite female and male celebrity?
Well if I'm honest I've never been one for celebrities but when I was much younger I used to idolise Selena Gomez and Miely Cyrus haha! (obviously before the change xD )

Favourite subject at school?
I really like Geography because I like my teacher and I find it interesting.

Favourite item of makeup?
I'd say powder as it gets rid of greasiness and adds a tincy bit of coverage, so sometimes I'll just wear moisturiser & powder for school/lazy day makeup.

Where is the best place you have ever visited?
Either America, Florida as I love the U.S and found it magical at 5 & 7 years old. xD Or Disney Land, for obvious reasons. ♡ OR, last summer I went to Sorento, Italy and loved it, and would love to go back again. :)

I nominate:

Here are your questions:

•What do you think is the best part about blogging?
•If you could meet one YouTuber, who would you pick?
•Makeup or clothes?
•Favourite makeup brand?
•Favourite clothing shop?
•If you could only wear one makeup product for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
•Do you prefer pastel or bright colours?
•Instagram or Twitter?
•Outdoors or indoors?
•Favourite nail polish(es)?
•Do you prefer 'YouTubing' or Blogging?

Good luck! :) ♡

New Limited Edition Lush Pot O' Gold Shower Jelly!

Hello again, :)

Firstly sorry I haven't uploaded for a while I've been very busy with revising and tests these last few weeks! x
So Lush recently brought out their Spring/Easter range, and I went in the other day, planning on buying a bath bomb or bubble bar, but in the end (after talking to a lovely lady who worked there) I went for this!
The Lush Pot O' Gold Shower Jelly    \/

So this is their new limited edition shower jelly, which they haven't done before, and I was very excited to try it! So firstly as you can see it is a gorgeous sparkling gold colour which I love! ♡ It also smells fabulous, just like chocolate/sweets! *o*

Although, I do find it very hard to use shower jellys because they always just slip out of your hands! xD It's slightly easier to use it in the bath because it doesn't matter as much if you drop them, but it's still pretty difficult. :(

So overall it has a really good smell and colour to it, but is a bit impractical to use unfortunately! Oh well. :)

Bye guys, ;)

February 2015 Favourites ♡

Hi everyone, :)

So today I'm going to be sharing with you all a few things I've been loving in February.♡ (Which seems as if it's flown by!)

So firstly, books. I am a bookworm as it is, but when some of my favourite YouTubers brought out books, I knew I had to get them! :o So first is Tanya Burr's book, Love Tanya. It is all about her life growing up, now, about her beauty & YouTube career, and also some handy tips on makeup and skincare which I love.♡ It also includes some lovely pictures of Tanya, her friends and family. :)

Next is Zoe's book Girl Online, which tons of people have got aha! :) I recently finished the book, which I was quite proud about, as I read it in only 2 months, and I haven't done that for a while. If you would like to know more about the book, I also included it in my December favourites, so go check that out for a bit of a story line.♡

Now onto skincare products.♡

So firstly is the Garnier Micellar cleansing water which is more of a forever favourite, if you know what I mean. ;) One of my first posts was a review of this, so please check that out if you'd like to know why I love it so much.♡

Next are these Boots Tea Tree & Witch hazel exfoliating pads, so I use these because I have very dry skin and sometimes my concealer will just stick to these dry patches and make it look horrible so if I just want to quickly get rid of it then I scrub one of these over it. These also help with spots because of the witch hazel.♡

And lastly is my 'Honeymania' hand cream from The Body Shop. I've been loving this because winter has just ended and my hands were recovering from the cold weather so this was really helpful, and it smells really good too! :)

So thank you for reading this post I hope you enjoyed, and also to let you know my next post will probably be a little haul so stay tube for that next week. :)

Bye lovelies,
Rhi Rhi xx

February Collective Haul ♡

Hi guys, :)

So today I thought if share with you some things I've picked up on a few shopping trips throughout February. :) Hope you enjoy. ♡

DISCLAIMER- This is a collective haul, so I went on more than one shopping trip when I picked up these items, all of them were bought with my own money, and I am not trying to brag in any way, shape or form.♡

Firstly I went to a Tesco with a big beauty department and I picked up the Maybelline Baby lips, dr rescue in 'pink me up'. These are really pretty and very moisturising, so I'd recommend them, they are totally worth the money!
Price-£3.49

Then I picked up two Barry M nail polishes in 'cappuccino', (the brown one) and 'berry' (the lilac one). I think these are both beautiful colours, and hopefully in the future I will be doing a review on the Barry M nail polishes, so stay tune for that. x
Price-£2.99 each

Also from tesco, I picked up these two Yankee votives in 'grapefruit' and 'morning blossom', and they're very light and fresh, so good for the spring months that are coming up.
Price-£1.20 each

Next I went to Ikea, and the first thing I got was this pastel pink skura tub, type thing. I think I'm going to put this in my room, and keep bath & skincare products in it, as I need somewhere for them to go. ♡
Price-£4.50

Next I got this apple scented candle, as it was only 95p!!

Then I went to Lush (yay!) and I was trying to choose between this, and the 'think pink' bath bomb, but in the end I went for the unicorn horn bubble bar, as I think it's a limited edition one??
Price-£3.25

Well that was everything I got, I hope you all enjoyed reading it, and I'll see you in my next post! :)

Bye!

10 facts and uses of powder! ♡

Hi guys, :)

So today I'm going to be showing you guys 10 facts & uses of powder because there are so many things you can do with this under-rated makeup product! So let's go!

1. It mattifies your skin so it's not shiny.
2. It reduces the appearance of oil and grease.
3. You should apply it on your t-zone, (forehead, nose & chin) as this is where it gets most greasy.
4. It sets concealer and foundation so it doesn't just wipe off.
5. You can put a bit on your lipstick to make it matte. (This only works if it's translucent!)
6. Brush some under your eyes while you do your eye makeup because it'll catch any eye shadow or eye liner pencil pigments that fall down, and when you're done all the little fall outs will brush off with it, instead of getting rubbed into your skin!
7. Apply some translucent powder to your eye lashes before putting on mascara, to make your lashes look fuller. ♡
8. Sprinkle powder on things like olive oil stains, leave it overnight, dust it off, and the stain will be pretty much gone!
9. If you apply too much blush, dust some powder over it to fade it out, and make it look a bit more natural.
10. You can use powder as a substitute for dry shampoo, and if it's translucent, you won't see it in dark hair!

Well I hope you guys enjoyed these facts and uses for powder, and you now know that there are so many more uses for powder than you first thought! :)

Bye guys,

Pastel 'we heart room inspiration/organisation♡

Hi guys, :)

So today's post is going to be a pastel 'we heart it' room inspiration, decor & organisation since you guys voted for that on my Instagram, (@_rhi8) so let's go!

The first idea is displaying a cute little dish, with a Yankee wax tart on it. (The one below is in snowflake cookie.) This looks really cute and 'we heart it' esque, and also a way to store and display wax tarts. Although you can also store bracelets, necklaces and rings on little dishes like this (mine is from Laura Ashley) as it is a good way to store them, but are still very accessible to grab and wear everyday.♡

The next idea is using/displaying cute candle holders like the ones above.^^^ You can get ones like this in many places, and mine are from: left=ikea, front=I don't know as I got it as a present and right=next.♡ I love burning candles, as I think they add some atmosphere to your room. :)

Another idea, for storage this time, is to keep pens and pencils in cute holders like the little buckets I have, (above) and my Starbucks cup (below). These are great to keep them in because they're really accessible, but also really cute! The buckets are from hobby craft, and I don't really think I need to tell you where the cup is from. xD

And the last idea (which is probably the easiest) is fairy lights! You can just use the normal, straight forward ones, or use hearts or flowers like mine above.♡ I got mine from primark for £6 which was really good, but the circuit is kinda broken so I wouldn't recommend them. (Although yours may work fine.)

Well, I hope you enjoyed this blog post, it was quite fun to think of the ideas hehe :) I think my next, next post is gonna be a review, so please comment what you like a review of. :)

Bye,
Rhi Rhi x♡

Shopping Haul ♡

Hello again ;)

So today's post is just going to be a little shopping haul from New Look and Superdrug.♡ Hope you enjoy. :)

Starting off with what I got in New Look, the first thing is my new coat!

So it's kind of like those green parkers everyone seems to be wearing, but in navy. It has tartan lining, criss-cross sewing on the sleeves, and gold detailing on the zips. I really like it!♡
Price-it was half price from £60 to £30!

I also got these shoes for school, because I normally wear little pumps with bows on the end, so I thought these were cute, but we're also something different.♡
Price-reduced to £7

Next I got this tattoo choker because I've been looking for one for aaages and I finally found one I liked.

The last things I got from New Look are these socks because they always do a 3 for £4 deal on their socks, so I picked up these two owl ones and some with koalas on, but one of the owl ones is in the wash so that's why it's not in the photo aha.♡
Price-3 for £4 or separately they are £1.99

Now onto what I got in Superdrug.♡

Firstly I got the Zoella Beauty soak opera, bath soak and shower cream. So this is the first product I've got from the Zoella Beauty line, and I'm very excited to try it! :)

Next I got some more batiste, as I ran out a while ago, so I got the large cherry one.♡

Well that was everything I got!♡ I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you would like me to do more hauls on my blog in the future please comment below. :) x

That's all for now,
Rhi Rhi :) xx
